I just have to share this quick idea for a spring garden centerpiece. The lovely ladies of Ama-Kanasta Garden Club invited me to talk about spring garden inspiration at the their March meeting and I came away inspired by their delightful centerpieces.
Check out this idea: a copper pan filled with a jar of bright yellow blooms like mums or sunflowers, and dotted with garden tools like hose nozzles and sprinkler heads. I spied floral frogs, seed packets and other garden-related doodads. Each table’s centerpiece was utterly original and fresh as springtime.
The refreshments table featured delightful sandwiches, too. I love this idea for petite croissants stuffed with chicken salad to resemble carrots. Sprigs of parsley complete the effect and a golden bunny protects the feast.
Many thanks to Ama-Kanasta Garden Club for inviting me! I had a delightful time sharing my favorite garden tours with fellow gardening enthusiasts.
