Visit the UGA Trial Gardens in Athens in early June for its Open House events.
The University of Georgia Trial Gardens will host its Industry Open House on Wednesday, June 5, from 8 am to 12 pm.
On Saturday, June 8, the UGA Trial Gardens will host a Public Open House from 9 am to 12pm, where the community is invited to enjoy the garden. The event includes a plant sale and tours, and is free.
You can visit the trial garden at any time. It is free and open to the public all year long.
UGA Trial Gardens is located on the campus of the University of Georgia, 220 W. Green Street, Athens, GA 30602. Parking is pay-per-hour weekdays in the South Deck nearby, and free after 6 p.m. and on weekends.
The industry event is part of the Southern Garden Tour for professionals in the horticulture industry. During the industry open house, the Trial Garden staff, horticulture students and volunteers will be onsite to assist, and will provide light refreshments. Registration is not required and attendance is free.
