My story on the delightful gardens of Juneau, Alaska, is featured in the May 2025 issue of “American Gardener” magazine. This was such a fun story to write – Juneau is a great city with warm and wonderful people, and omigosh, beautiful gardens.
I’m doubly thrilled that my story is in the newly redesigned issue created by new editor Rochelle Greayer. I enjoyed the thoughtful collaboration and the innovative way the design helped tell the story.
“American Gardener” is a publication of the American Horticultural Society, of which I am a member. Membership is affordable – just $50 for a year ($35 for seniors), and that gets you a subscription to the magazine plus free or reduced admission to 380 AHS network gardens throughout the country, plus many other benefits. Check out ahsgardening.org and consider joining today.
And when you do, you’ll have access to the digital archive of magazines that includes my Juneau story!
