Farmers Markets West Georgia 2023

May 26, 2023 By Lucy Mercer

I love farmers markets in spring, summer and fall. They’re great for picking up fresh tomatoes and greens, and for swapping recipes. Even better, I can usually find a cut flower vendor or a grower with a few extra seedlings for my garden.

These are the farmers markets in my corner of Georgia, west of Atlanta. Let me know your favorites!

Cobb County

Marietta Square Farmers Market. Saturdays, 9 am. to noon. 41 Mill Street, Marietta, Georgia.

Douglas County

Church Street Farmers Market. Tuesdays, 3 to 7 p.m., May 30 to October 24. 6730 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia.

Farmers Table (really a market, but I love them), 3670 Hwy 5, Douglasville, Georgia.

Rodgers Greens & Roots Order through the website and pick up on the farm on Saturdays. They set up @ Peachtree Road Farmers Market and @ Grant Park Farmers Market. Occasionally @ Church Street Farmers Market on Tuesdays in Douglasville.

Paulding County

Dallas Farmers Market, Saturdays 8 am to noon, April 22 through September 30. 160 Confederate Ave. Dallas, Georgia 30132.

South Fulton County

Serenbe Farmers Market, Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm on the Selborne Green. Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia 30268.

Carroll County

Cotton Mill Farmers Market, Saturdays 8 am to 11 am. 609 Dixie Street Carrollton, Georgia 30117.

Downtown Villa Rica Farmers Market, Mondays 4 to 7 pm. 106 Temple Street, Villa Rica 30180.
