Never in a million years would I have imagined one of my recipes mentioned alongside the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten’s recipes. My Meyer Lemon Cheesecake with Biscoff Crust is one of the one of the most saved recipes so far in 2023.
In fact it’s #5 on the list, edging out recipes from my culinary heroes like Ina Garten, Richard Sax, Paul Bertolli and Dan Barber. I posted the cheesecake recipe more than a decade ago, but it didn’t really catch its audience until this year. To date, it’s garnered 4 1/2 stars with 150 reviews and 49 comments.
The cheesecake is just one recipe in my Food52 collection. Check out my links below for more tasty inspiration.
Getting Started with Food52
A few years after I started A Cook and Her Books in 2008, I discovered Food52. It’s a premier cooking site now, but back then it was a new site that combined cooking knowhow with crowdsourced recipes.
I was part of the crowd that sourced the recipes. I have quite a collection of bookmarked recipes on the site, and I’ve had the opportunity to contribute original recipes to the site. The most popular is, of course, the Meyer Lemon Cheesecake with Biscoff Crust. If you’re a cheesecake fan, give it a try. It won’t disappoint.
You can find more of my recipes on Food52. Here’s a sample:
